2019 will be a great year for Hands of Healing Touch.
We are adding a new massage therapy treatment room making it a total of 4 rooms. The room addition will help us better treat your needs to feeling better. We might even be able to hire on another qualified rockstar to allow more schedule flexibility! Do you know someone?! We really strive on quality of our services more than quanity. No worries there. We work hard to keep us over four stars on our reviews. Thank you for reviewing us and referring us! We also all carry warm Himalayan salt stones in our treatment rooms. We keep them warm all the time and love using them. We can add on hot stones to any massage. You will love these stones! Another thing our office has in each room is our very cool Ashley Black Facia Blasters. Ask us to use them it's a free add on! For retail products we carry RAD Rollers. They simply are the best on the market for rolling muscles at home. We use them everyday for our own personal self treatment. Every house should have one of these great buys. Come try them out before buying. They can be a little pricy but we refuse to sell junk and these bad boys will last a lifetime. Plus if you find you don't like them I will buy them back... but you will love them. Oh and our NRT sessions are now at this time $85! My normal rate $125. I really wanted a more affordable way to heal you. Note NRT is not a massage it is a treatment in it's self. If you really want to be fixed I suggest you do this first and then add a massage to it after. Helen and Angie are the only people in the office who are offering full body NRT. Emily is offering lower body NRT until she can get into more classes in 2019. We have the ability to do massage add ons but only if you call us. Our MindBody app is a little behind on the add on capability. We are sure that will soon change. MindBody is our online booking system and they make everything stress free on your end and ours. Oh and to mention they help us with our onine gift certificates sales. It's so easy to buy a gift. No need to stop by anymore, unless you just want to say hi! Angie still is not taking on new massage clients. However if you are in need of an NRT or Medical Cupping session call for a consultation and she will do her best to find a spot if she can. Otherwise try Helen for NRT she does the same great work. Emily will be on board to a full body NRT session by the end of the year if not sooner! Sunday massage will be on and off. You will just have to fish for the openings. Jessica is our normal Sunday rock star but she is a PTA student and has studies. She will do her best to open as many as she can handle while being a straight A student. Must I say this girl is strong! Come try her out on Saturdays for sure. Good news with Mirra! She will soon have some more time slots open for you starting in Jan. We have been waiting on the new room addition so we can add her. We hope to see you soon! Exciting changes are happening at our small little massage office. We have a few new people to our addition. Mirra Greenway, Helen Humphreys, and Emily Stuart. We may even add one or two more people to our list of amazing deep tissue therapist. We want to be able to be accessible when you are in pain so we can stop the hurt sooner than later. Don't worry we hire qualified therapist who enjoy working with focused issues. Everyone here has a passion to help in a way that can be customized to your liking. Hope to see you on our books!
Last year Caitlin and I learned Medi Cupping. Medi Cupping has been a huge sucess and easy on our hands.
This year starting the end of Febuary we will be adding a new techinque called Neuro Rest Therapy. {NRT} It will help us become better therapist, more effecient with our time, and be more effective with our clients. Our Feb class is a full weekend lower body and April will be another full weekend upper body. Class time can not come fast enough as we are excited to add to our bag of tricks! We will do anything on our part to help you feel better and faster. The fun blessings of being a MT. We ended 2017 with a new fresh look. We gained a treatment room redecorated and painted. Now we have an even more inviting area for you to relax in. My creative and loving husband (Adam Boster) helped make a really cool art wall out of metalic paint. Though our painting project has a bit more work to go, it's still super cool. I think it's Pintrest ready for the most part. Come see for yourself.
We are now using a new site called MindBody. Please down load the app on your phone. It's easy to book online and can be done any time of the day! Hope you enjoy it as much as we are on our end. If you have any questions on how to use it, just let us know. We will do our best. However we too are learning!
January 2017 my new assistant and I will be off on a cruise to my favorite island of St. Maarten! On this cruise we will learn from Anita Shannon and James Waslaski. James and Anita will be sharing updated research and new techniques on releasing scar tissue, mobilizing advanced stage should and hip capsular patterns, soft tissue techniques to mobilize complicated fixated joint patterns and so much more! We are excited to be gone for this week long trip! So make note we will be out of the office from January 28 through Feb 5. In that week stretch you still can get in with Wanda Haubner. She will be filling in for us as much as her schedule will allow. You will see her schedule up very soon for her fill in dates.
I am back from Australia and boy was that an experience! If we haven't already spoke about it, here is a little to catch you up. Most of you know Australia was mostly a work trip for me. I went out to work a new territory for my husbands Action Photo Business. They loved us out there and we will be expanding our territory to Oz land! We are supper excited. In between martial arts schools we soaked up every inch of the lower half of Australia.
We started our journey in Sydney and made our way down the Ocean view rd all the way across to Adelaide. This was a 14 hr drive one way. When it was time to drive back to Sydney we drove through the outback. We seen so many kangaroo's on the side of the road! It was a bit of a scary ride knowing it could be possible hit a Roo, plus the fact we drove on the wrong side of the road. We ONLY about got hit like three times by cars coming at us... However no accidents! Just a bunch of horns blown at us. In between the ocean front towns we got to adventure to a place called Tree Top Adventure. There we got to zip line a roller coaster and challenge ourselves with an in the air fitness coarse zip line. Took us 3hrs to get through it. So much fun! We did take a 4 day vacation to Fiji. Wow is all I can say about that place! I do want to go explore more islands there. There are 322 islands of Fiji! We got to stay at the Blue Lagoon where the original movie was held. We swam in an in the water cave. Oh my goodness was that the most amazing place to see! Oh and we got to zip line upside down in the rain forest after visiting a water fall in which we had to ourselves! We even stumbled across a hot spring location in which we scored on massages! So now I am back and there is so much going on. One thing I want you to know is I have let Lorraine go. She was not available to work as much as I needed. I am sad to see her go but will have a forever friend indeed! Especially one who lives part time in Key West!! I did hire on a new gal! Her name is Catlin! She has many years experience and will provide and open schedule with many modalities to have fun choosing from! I have her up and running on my website and here on Schedulicity for you to book. Please do me the favor of trying her out and or referring her. She is such a great talent and I have to keep her busy in order to keep her around! We need her here! She gives a great Deep Tissue massage as she gave me one last night. So spread the word! She starts March 1 with an open schedule. She will fill up quick so be sure to grab your special time before someone else does. One other thing on the plate is: Since all the changes of hiring in someone, my new year prices had to reflect. Here are the new price points: $45 30 min., $80 60 min., $110 90 min. $150 120 min. Note my prices are still cheaper than most places in town. My quality will still remain and if for any reason you feel other wise please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. Keeping you on your maintenance schedule is very important to us and for your health. So we want to make that work for you. Oh and Catlin wants to do some hot stone massages! Pam is still here but is not taking on new clients. So if you need her you really have to beg! Catlin and I are ready to work! So book with us. Our schedule has openings! After 10 years I am now to the point of needing help in my private practice. I just hired on Lorraine Osgood. She has been awesome! When you find that you can not find a spot on my schedule you can always come in and try her out! Lorraine has been in massage practice for many years. She moved to Columbia due to marriage leaving behind a full clientele and a beautiful beach of Key West. Cud-dos to her!
Now everyone keeps asking me, "When will you be booking your next light to St. Maarten?" Sad to say, probably not this year. My goal this year is to finish my in ground swimming pool at my house. Adam and I worked all last Spring and Summer to restore an ugly hole in in front yard which used to be a functioning pool. It was a huge do it your self project. We now have our pool in swimming condition. Too bad its winter. We still need a deck and a diving board. We had a wooden plank last year in place of a real diving board. You would think we were real pirates! Please do not ask us to build yours! lol! This will I hope be our one and only pool experience! However; I can tell you how to save 1000's of $$! Many of you already know, a few weekends ago I just got back from another amazing vacation to St. Maarten. 10 lazy days! This was my fifth trip on the island.
Everyone tends to ask... why do you always go back to St. Maarten? Well I have a time share the week of the Heineken Regatta. Which is one of the biggest days on the island. Filled with racing sails, nightly parties, concerts, and of course Heineken beer. The people are friendly and the beaches are spectacular! I know my way around the island and love to re-visit our island friends. Need I say more?! I will have to say that out of all the beaches, I do think that Bay Rouge may be our favorite beach! I find myself going back to it more than any. I enjoy going to see Gus and Lidia at Gus' Beach bar. It's good to be known by name and welcomed every year. Its funny that each time I am on that beach I get tumbled at least twice from the rough water! Sand goes every where... If you are looking for a place to stay this Spring break go stay at Divi Resort on the Dutch side of St. Maarten. It is true bliss! Pictured below is Juan one of my favorite bartenders at the resort. Thanks Juan for all the yummy drinks! |
