Policy Notification
We appreciate that you've chosen us for your massage and bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to our clients we have implemented the following policies.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snow storms, and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists' time, we have adopted the following policies:
In most cases, a 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an individual appointment. Group appointments such as chair events or private spa parties need 48 hr cancellation.
If you are unable to give us the minimum 24-hours (or 48 hours) advanced notice, and we are unable to fill your time slot, you will be charged the full amount of what would been your treatment fee. Feel free to send in someone to fill that spot. First time missed appointments will be charged 50% of the service fee and 100% of the service fee for each session after that. We also reserve the right to require a credit card to be given to book future appointments so that appropriate fees may be charge if late cancellation does occur. At our discretion this charge will be either automatically deducted from the outstanding balance of an existing appointment or gift certificate; otherwise, it must be paid in full prior to your next visit.
Rescheduling: If you need to shorten your booked time for an example from 90 mins to 60 mins. You will need a 24 hour reschedule in order to not get charged your original appointment time.
No Shows:
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for what ever reason will be considered a "no show". They will be charged for their "missed" appointment, and future service will be denied until payment is made.
Late Arrival Policy:
We request that yo arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required paperwork as well as answer any intake questions your therapist may have. We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, we as that you call to inform us if this ever occurs so we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed the reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your massage so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return we will do our best to be on time, and if we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly.
Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers: Please plan accordingly in order to be on time.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy:
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged for the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
Minors are permitted to receive massage in the clinic.
Parent or legal guardian must be present in helping complete the Health History Form for the minor, along with consent for the massage therapy session. Guidelines: Minors (all clients under the age of 18 – unless otherwise emancipated) can only receive massage with written parental/legal guardian consent. In collaboration with the consenting adult and child, the massage therapist will assist in establishing goals for the session(s). For clients age 13 and under, the parent/guardian must always be present in the treatment room. For clients age 14-17 if both client and parent/guardian are comfortable with the child being in the session room by themselves. Otherwise parent/guardian should be in the treatment room during each session. Once a comfortable therapeutic relationship has been established and the massage therapist, child and parent are comfortable the parent/legal guardian does not have to be present in the room. An adult needs to be accessible during time of treatment. Appropriate draping will be used at all times during the massage, only areas being massaged are uncovered.
If you book online, call, or walk in for your appointment you are automatically in agreement with our policies.
Gift certificates are not to be in exchange for cash and do follow the same cancelation policy as any booked session.
Pre-payment due upon booking.
